Cloud Support Engineer

Overview

Cloud Support Engineer supporting customers’ technical issues across SaaS and private cloud environments. Owns second-line troubleshooting and drives assigned cases to resolution with Engineering collaboration.

What you'll do

• Serve as the second line of defense for technical queries and support ticket resolution.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer issues end-to-end within scope.
• Troubleshoot using logs, traces, and reproducible test cases.
• Work with tools including kubectl, awscli, and at least one scripting language.
• Escalate out-of-scope issues to the appropriate engineering domain with supporting artifacts.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and technical customer contacts on complex cases.
• Contribute to runbooks, knowledge-base articles, and FAQs.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years in technical support, IT operations, cloud operations, or related.
• Working proficiency with CLI tools such as kubectl and awscli.
• Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Working knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs (plus MCP-related troubleshooting).
• Exposure to alerting and logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, or FireHydrant.
• Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to customers and teams.
