Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer role focused on designing, building, and operating backend systems for a 24/7 platform.

What you'll do

• Convert business requirements into durable, scalable backend solutions.
• Own subsystem development from design through testing, deployment, observability, and monitoring.
• Influence team architecture and design decisions for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Design flexibility into systems to improve engineering velocity and adaptability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality features aligned to business objectives.
• Participate in release management, site reliability initiatives, and on-call rotations.
• Lead improvements in testing, CI/CD, and end-to-end development velocity.

What you'll need

• 4+ years developing, maintaining, and scaling backend systems in production.
• Extensive experience with Java, GraphQL, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and messaging (e.g., Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Experience building data-driven applications using RDBMS, NoSQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Proven ability to deliver quality software in fast-paced agile using TDD, CI/CD, and automation.
• Familiarity with Shift Left testing and modern DevOps principles.
• Strong understanding of software lifecycle management, reliability, and observability.
