Software Engineer 2

Overview

JLL is seeking a Full Stack Developer 2 (P2) to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications for its digital workplace platforms.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React.
• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement microservices for scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Write clean, testable code with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product and design teams.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3–6 years of professional software development experience as a full stack developer.
• Strong React front-end development experience.
• Strong Java back-end development experience, including hands-on Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and building microservices.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
