About the role
We're looking for experienced CNC Operators to join our manufacturing team in Chrompet. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll operate CNC machines in a medical device manufacturing environment, working with precision components that demand high-quality standards and strict compliance with industry regulations.
What you'll do
- Set up and operate CNC machines (turning/CNC lathe) following engineering specifications
- Read, interpret, and work from component drawings and technical blueprints
- Load raw materials and tools; perform tool offsets and make minor program adjustments as needed
- Generate and optimize CNC programs using Fanuc Controller knowledge
- Measure finished parts using precision instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges)
- Inspect components to ensure they meet quality standards, tolerances, and specifications
- Monitor machine performance and report operational issues promptly
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to keep equipment in optimal condition
- Maintain production records, inspection reports, and QMS documentation
- Adhere to all safety policies, 5S workplace standards, and maintain identification & traceability of components
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of hands-on CNC machine operation experience
- Proficiency with Fanuc Controller systems
- Strong ability to interpret component drawings and technical documentation
- Competence in tool setting, selection, and precision measurement techniques
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and medical device manufacturing standards
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
- Understanding of machine maintenance and preventive care
- Familiarity with EU MDR 2017/745 and Medical Device Rule 2017 requirements
Nice to have
- CNC programming experience (G-code)
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- Knowledge of additional quality management system (QMS) standards
