Core Operations - Manager

Overview

Core Operations - Manager works under the direction of the AVP/VP to liaison between client/IM service teams and sub custodians/depositories to help ensure proper settlement of security and cash transactions.

What you'll do

• Ensure sub custodian/depository messages are received daily per operating requirements/SLAs.
• Resolve exceptions/problems timely and accurately with proper documentation.
• Adhere to department operating procedures using appropriate review and control procedures.
• Research and resolve problems with minimal supervision.
• Serve as a source of technical information and training for entry-level staff.
• Assist with management reporting and day-to-day operational procedures.
• Support schedule flexibility to cover staff vacation and illness.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Excel and Word.
• Demonstrate proactive and creative problem solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
