Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, build and configure custom software applications for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), translating business processes into AI-driven workflows and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
• Translate business processes into AI-driven workflows, integrating Agentic AI patterns and SAP AI services.
• Own end-to-end implementation, including data and model integration, solution architecture, development, testing and deployment within SAP landscapes and customer environments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data and customer teams to drive AI adoption, optimize models in production and enhance solution quality and impact.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.

What you'll need

• 15 years of full time education.
• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with integration of SAP PM with other SAP modules.
• Experience with transforming processes with AI and infusing Agentic AI innovations in the SAP space.
• Strategic thinking, client-focused articulation and effective demo and communication experience.
• Familiarity with agile development practices and tools.
