Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Custom Software Engineer role focused on SAP BTP application design, development, integration, and end-to-end solution delivery across pro-code and low-code/no-code environments.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end SAP BTP application architecture and development across CAP models and LCNC tools.
• Design SAP Fiori applications integrated via OData services and BTP CAP models.
• Implement CAP domain models, service definitions, and event handlers.
• Design HDI container and SAP HANA Cloud persistence models and deploy CDS schema.
• Oversee SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, and API Management for hybrid connectivity.
• Set up authentication/authorization using XSUAA, JWT tokens, role collections, and principal propagation.

What you'll need

• Minimum 12+ years of experience (also stated as 14+ years for additional information).
• Deep expertise in SAP BTP Application Development using pro-code (CAP, Node.js, Java) and LCNC (SAP Build Apps).
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services, and ABAP extensions.
• Expert grounding in SAP HANA Cloud modeling (e.g., calculation views, stored procedures).
• Knowledge of XSUAA security setup including OAuth2, scopes, and role collections.
• Experience with CI/CD automation using MTA packaging and Cloud Foundry CLI.
