Custom Software Engineer

Overview

As a Custom Software Engineer, analyze, design, code, test, maintain, enhance and develop application components for manufacturing environments and client projects.

What you'll do

• Analyze client requirements and design solutions aligned with operational needs.
• Write and test code to ensure functionality.
• Perform maintenance, enhancements and development work on existing applications.
• Address issues and continuously improve software components supporting manufacturing processes.
• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Actively participate and contribute in team discussions.
• Contribute to solutions for work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document software designs, code changes and testing outcomes to maintain clear project records.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
• Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on software development in manufacturing settings.
• Experience analyzing and designing software components to meet client-specific requirements.
• Ability to write clean, efficient and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate within diverse teams.
• 15 years full-time education.
