Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements, acting as a subject matter expert and leading the development of software solutions.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to perform.
• Take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of innovative software solutions that enhance business operations.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of software development with organizational objectives.

What you'll need

• 15 years full time education.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Apache Kafka.
• Proficiency in Apache Kafka.
• Strong understanding of distributed messaging systems and event streaming architectures.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines.
• Familiarity with real-time data processing and integration techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance in complex software environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Data Engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks.
• Experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
