Customer Success Engineer

Overview

Associate Customer Success Engineer to support a portfolio of small-to-mid-size customers with technical guidance for Orca’s cloud security platform.

What you'll do

• Act as the front-line technical point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Troubleshoot platform questions, configuration, integrations, alert findings, and basic cloud environment issues.
• Assist customer onboarding including environment connections and initial configuration.
• Support Customer Success Managers with technical materials for check-ins, business reviews, and renewal conversations.
• Shadow and co-lead technical workshops and architecture discussions over time.
• Document recurring issues, build runbooks, and contribute to the CSE knowledge base.
• Track and escalate product issues and feature gaps to Product/Engineering and follow up with customers.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Working familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on project or lab experience (counts).
• Comfort reading logs, APIs, and basic scripts (Python or Bash) to diagnose issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer conversations and prioritize under ambiguity.
• Be based in, or able to work from, the Delhi or Bangalore hub (preferred).

Nice to have

• Exposure to containers/Kubernetes fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• A cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner/Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Fundamentals, GCP Associate).
• Prior exposure to security concepts (vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, compliance frameworks).
