Overview
Own day-to-day customs execution for Nivoda’s jewellery shipments across the US, UK and EU. The role covers documentation, classifications, broker relationships, duty monitoring and the duty drawback program.
What you'll do
- Prepare shipment documentation and commercial invoices.
- Apply approved HTS classifications and country-of-origin determinations.
- Manage customs broker relationships and review broker performance.
- Monitor duties, investigate unexpected outcomes and file claims.
- Resolve routine customs queries and verify import and export declarations.
- Own daily duty drawback activities and validate claims.
- Build trade compliance processes for new duty-liable markets.
What you'll need
- Proven global trade compliance or customs operations experience.
- Extensive US import-export experience.
- Experience covering US, UK and EU imports and exports.
- Experience managing customs brokers and shipment documentation at volume.
- Experience filing duty drawback or tariff reclaim claims.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- A detail-oriented, process-minded and commercially focused approach.
Nice to have
- Experience with free trade agreements and preferential duty schemes.
- Experience in jewellery, diamonds, gemstones or high-value goods logistics.
- Experience with Indian export processes.
- Experience in an international e-commerce or marketplace business.
Details
- Fully remote in Europe.
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.
- Individual contributor role with high ownership.
