Customs Operations FinOps Specialist

Overview

Support the accurate financial execution of customs-related transactions, including invoicing, cost validation, reconciliation, compliance support and reporting.

What you'll do

• Generate and validate manual and system-based invoices for customs services.
• Complete month-end closure activities on time.
• Record revenue charges, taxes, duties and incidental costs in job systems such as Kewill.
• Validate and manage costs from customs and third-party agents, including ad-hoc cost entries.
• Process invoice cancellations and reissuance based on approvals.
• Coordinate invoice dispatch and communicate in a timely manner with Customer Experience and Operations teams.
• Manage customer relationships and deliver service to internal and external stakeholders through professional email communication.
• Support compliance reviews and provide accurate data for KPI and Management Information System reporting.
• Reconcile costs, taxes and duties in job systems to maintain financial integrity.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or disputes promptly while following company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to complete multiple operational activities efficiently and effectively.
• Apply problem-solving skills to identify and address customer issues.
• Deliver error-free financial data to support reporting and audit requirements.

What you'll need

• Any graduate degree.
• At least 2 years of Customer Service experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good MS Office skills.
• Strong email communication skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excel knowledge is required.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to support rotating shifts as needed.

• Background in Finance.
• Shipping or Logistics background.
