Fixed Income Division - Associate/Senior Associate, Rates Sales Assistant (Mumbai)

Overview

Support the NY Interest Rate Sales desk from Mumbai with front-office trade booking and processing across OTC interest-rate derivatives, bonds and hybrid products.

What you'll do

• Book and process trades for interest rate swaps, swaptions and cash trades.
• Identify amendments with the trading desk.
• Resolve disputes with downstream operational teams and systems.
• Liaise with trade settlement and confirmation teams when needed.

What you'll need

• Previous experience in a sales or trading support role for Interest Rate Derivatives.
• Experience in OTC Derivative trade capture and trade booking.
• Extremely diligent with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle stress and pressure of fast markets.
• Must be self-motivated, confident and possess excellent communication skills.
• Established understanding of derivative product mechanics.
• Excel / VBA for spreadsheet analysis work.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Derivatives settlements, confirmations or OTC clearing, DTCC or Markitwire.
