Data Architect - Data Engineering 4D

Overview

Data Architect role within Genpact's Data Engineering 4D team, responsible for creating and maintaining the architecture for big data systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement data strategies for large-scale data solutions.
• Design and maintain data architecture for big data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with data governance policies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data architecture and analytics capabilities.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics, or Master's degree in Data Science.
• Certifications listed in the posting: Certified Data Management Professional (Riversand); Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 or Apache Spark (Databricks Academy); Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (Microsoft); Oracle Database 12c Certified Implementation Specialist (Oracle).
• Required skills include Databricks Platform, Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, Agile Methodology, Change Management, Design Thinking, Information Security, and Client Relations, among others.
• English language proficiency: Proficient (C2).
