Overview

Data Architect in the Data Engineering 4D team at Genpact, responsible for creating and maintaining the architecture for big data systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement data strategies for large-scale data solutions.
• Design and maintain data architecture for big data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with data governance policies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data architecture and analytics capabilities.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics, or Master's in Data Science.
• Certifications: Certified Data Management Professional (Riversand); Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 or Apache Spark (Databricks Academy); Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate; Oracle Database 12c Certified Implementation Specialist.
• Required skills include Databricks Platform, Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, Agile Methodology, Change Management, and Information Security, among others.
• English language proficiency: Proficient (C2).
