Overview

Data Engineer role in Genpact's Data Engineering team, building data ingestion, storage, and transformation pipelines for global enterprise clients.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement data ingestion processes.
• Design and optimize data storage and retrieval solutions.
• Build and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data into data lake/warehouse.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver relevant datasets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Ensure data quality and integrity in the data pipelines.
• Research and evaluate new data technologies and tools for continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics, or Master's in Data Science.
• Certified Data Management Professional (Riversand), Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 or Apache Spark, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Oracle Database 12c Certified Implementation Specialist (listed as certifications).
• Required skills: Agile Methodology, Banking Capital Markets, Cloud Computing, Collaboration Tools, Commercial Sales, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Data Engineering, Data Literacy, Design Thinking, Electronic Hardware, Executive Presence, Inclusion, Manufacturing Equipment, Personal Effectiveness, Semiconductors, Snowflake (Platform), Sourcing and Procurement, Storytelling.
