Data Engineer – Director, Data & Analytics Engineering

Overview

Data Engineer (Director) in Workforce Technology & Services, modernizing tooling enablement by building and managing data warehouse solutions in Snowflake and supporting data pipelines and governance.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable data solutions using Snowflake for storage and processing.
• Migrate existing data domains/flows from relational stores to Snowflake.
• Optimize new and existing data workflows for improved performance and cost.
• Implement data integrity practices and integrate data governance/data science tools with the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Develop data models and ETL processes for high-quality data ingestion into cloud storage.
• Build ingestion and automation pipelines using Talend/Informatica.
• Write SQL/Python scripts for large dataset analysis and scheduled end-to-end automation.

What you'll need

• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with data analysis, data object development, and data modeling in Snowflake.
• Snowflake REST API experience.
• Informatica ETL and Talend ETL experience.
• SQL query development and Python scripting experience.
• Strong data modeling concepts including schema design for relational and cloud data stores.
• Proficiency with relational databases for querying and data transformations.
