Data Engineer Platform and Tools – Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Overview

Seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

What you'll do

• Design and develop batch and streaming data pipelines on GCP.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Develop and maintain data orchestration workflows using Cloud Composer (Airflow).
• Optimize SQL queries and BigQuery performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines on GCP.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT development, cloud-native data processing, and workflow orchestration.
• Programming skills in Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer (Airflow).
• Experience with data engineering topics including ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Version control and CI/CD experience using Git and Cloud Build/Jenkins.
• Monitoring experience with Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring.

Nice to have

• Oracle Cloud optional: OIC, ODT, GoldenGate, AIDP.
