Data Engineers - Databricks - Senior Associate

Overview

Design and build Databricks-based data infrastructure, pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions that turn raw data into actionable insights within a Data and Analytics Engineering practice. Analyze complex problems, support assigned workstreams, develop deliverables, build client connections, and guide junior team members.

What you'll do

• Design and develop Databricks-based data pipelines, transformations, and integration workflows for client data environments.
• Build and maintain data infrastructure that supports reliable processing, storage, and access across analytics solutions.
• Apply data engineering methods to model, cleanse, validate, and organize structured and semi-structured data.
• Analyze complex data challenges and translate business needs into technical design choices.
• Use Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and cloud data platforms to schedule, automate, and monitor pipeline execution.
• Tune performance across data processing jobs, query logic, and warehouse workloads to improve execution efficiency.
• Support data architecture decisions across lake, warehouse, and platform design patterns.
• Interpret data requirements and technical feedback to refine solution design and delivery workstreams.
• Collaborate with client teams and internal stakeholders to align data solutions with broader project objectives.
• Guide junior team members on data engineering tasks, technical methods, and delivery activities.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• At least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics.
• Databricks data engineering experience in client service workstreams.
• Experience utilizing Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent orchestration tools.
• Experience applying data modeling, transformation, and validation in modern pipelines.
• Experience interpreting data insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while mentoring junior team members.
• Experience collaborating across teams to anticipate client and project needs.
