Overview
Lead a team of analyst-level professionals and oversee day-to-day data management, data governance, and data operations execution to improve data quality and enable reliable reporting.
What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and develop analyst-level team members with clear priorities and performance expectations.
- Own core data operations processes to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent execution across systems and workflows.
- Establish and strengthen data governance practices, including definitions, standards, quality controls, stewardship, and issue resolution.
- Partner with business, operations, and technical teams to identify data gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve data integrity and usability.
- Monitor data quality and operational performance using metrics, reporting, and root cause analysis.
- Work hands-on with data platforms and systems, including Power BI and SQL environments, for analysis, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Act as an escalation point for data issues and drive resolution across teams and systems.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in data operations, data management, data governance, business operations, or a related field.
- Experience leading or mentoring analyst-level team members with people leadership and coaching capability.
- Strong understanding of data management and data governance principles (quality, stewardship, controls, documentation, standardization).
- Hands-on technical experience with Power BI and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis to drive solutions.
- Ability to translate requirements into operational improvements across business and technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, data analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
