Data Platform Architect

Overview

Architects the data platform blueprint and implements the design, encompassing the relevant data platform components. Collaborates with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models.

What you'll do

• Lead the development and refinement of data platform architecture to align with business objectives.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure architectural consistency.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform Architecture.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform Architecture.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Machine Learning Services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure design principles and best practices.
• Experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms.
• Familiarity with data integration techniques and data modeling concepts within cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex architectural challenges and provide innovative solutions.
• 15 years full time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Machine Learning Services.

Details

• Based at the DDC5E - SEZ location.
• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
