Overview
Lead the creation and implementation of AI and data science solutions for Corporate Banking and Investment Banking Operations and Controls (CBIBOC), reporting to the Head of AI for CBIBOC.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of new AI solutions for CBIBOC stakeholders.
- Drive adoption of AI and analytics best practices across CBIBOC and IT (TDI).
- Help develop and lead a high-performing Data Science and AI Engineering team.
- Ensure AI governance requirements are adhered to for new solutions.
- Lead hands-on development: evaluate, prioritize, test, validate, and monitor AI use cases.
- Track AI solutions against agreed KPIs and maintain a centralized AI inventory and approvals.
What you'll need
- Demonstrable experience delivering ML and cutting-edge AI solutions into production at a tier 1 / G-SIB bank, ideally in operations or control functions.
- Experience with data science/AI developer tools and platforms (e.g., GitHub, VS Code, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, MLflow, W&B, Jupyter, Hugging Face).
- Experience with no-code/low-code AI tools (e.g., Microsoft AI Builder/Power Automate, Google AI Studio, etc.).
- Experience with AI solution design/architecture, including agentic AI solutions.
- Experience in data/feature engineering and data product creation using platforms such as BigQuery, Looker, PostgreSQL, Spark, Snowflake (examples listed).
- Strong AI risk management knowledge across the solution lifecycle.
