Data Scientist (Senior)

Overview

Senior Data Scientist (Product Analytics) is a hands-on technical contributor and task manager in a cross-functional product team, responsible for designing, building, and deploying analytics solutions that power Quantium’s software products.

What you'll do

• Deliver advanced analytics solutions into Quantium products on time and to required quality.
• Lead sections of analytics solution design with minimal guidance, including predictive models and data transformation pipelines.
• Design, develop, prototype, and test analytics algorithms, writing specifications for engineering implementation.
• Run BAU production processes for product components requiring regular delivery, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues and anomalies during product operation.
• Adopt AI tools and techniques to improve productivity and support AI-powered product features.

What you'll need

• 4–7 years of experience in a highly technical analytics or data science environment.
• Experience delivering analytics solutions in a product/platform context within cross-functional teams.
• Experience with task management or technical oversight of junior team members.
• Practical exposure to AI/ML techniques, with hands-on generative AI tools as a strong plus.
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
