Data Visualization & Analytics Engineer

Overview

Enable data-driven decision-making through scalable and business-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports. Translate business requirements into clear KPIs, metrics, and visual insights while driving analytics adoption through data storytelling, usability, and reporting standards.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Create clear, intuitive, and impactful visualizations that communicate trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Optimize dashboards for usability, performance, and adoption using best practices in layout, navigation, and DAX.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business questions into reporting solutions.
• Define KPIs and metrics and present insights in a clear, actionable, and audience-appropriate way.
• Support users through training, adoption activities, and continuous dashboard improvement.
• Work with data from SQL, Databricks, SharePoint, Excel, and other enterprise sources.
• Use Power BI Dataflows, semantic models, and DirectQuery/Import approaches where appropriate.
• Ensure data quality, documentation, consistency, access control, and adherence to reporting standards.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data visualization, BI, analytics engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including report development, semantic modeling, and dashboard optimization.
• Strong experience with DAX and solid working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, sharing, and permissions.
• Experience with enterprise data sources such as Databricks, SharePoint, Excel, and relational databases.
• Experience in agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, row-level security, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of visualization best practices, chart selection, dashboard usability, and data storytelling.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable, user-friendly, and governed reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to data quality and accuracy.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative, proactive, and service-oriented mindset in global teams.
