Senior Data Analyst

Overview

Senior Data Analyst responsible for turning complex datasets into business insights, dashboards, metrics, and data-driven recommendations. The role owns analytical initiatives from requirements gathering through analysis, visualization, and stakeholder presentation.

What you'll do

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Own analytical projects from requirements gathering through stakeholder presentation.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Write optimized SQL queries and automate recurring workflows and reports.
• Use Python for data analysis, manipulation, and automation.
• Define KPIs and business metrics, then track performance and trends.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practices.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and query optimization.
• Python experience with data analysis and manipulation libraries.
• Power BI and/or Tableau experience in dashboard development and visualization.
• Experience with data modeling, cleaning, transformation, validation, and quality checks.
• Experience working with large, complex, structured, and unstructured datasets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration tools such as Talend.
• Understanding of MDM, data governance, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Knowledge of forecasting, segmentation, predictive analytics, or advanced analytics.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI-assisted analytics, or natural-language-to-SQL.
