Overview

Integrated Audit Data Analyst, Officer role in State Street’s Corporate Audit team, supporting internal audit engagements using data analytics.

What you'll do

• Use data analytics to perform audit work aligned to risk-based methodology and standards.
• Interface with business partners to support control design assessments and operational effectiveness testing.
• Design data-driven audit test approaches with the Data Analytics and business audit teams.
• Analyze control test results to identify potential control weaknesses.
• Draft audit issues with identified root causes supported by data analysis.
• Review management corrective actions and escalate potential audit issues with proposed solutions.
• Assist in onboarding and coaching junior audit staff in data analytics use.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in Public Accounting, Internal Auditing, or financial services.
• Strong technical ability in data analysis and control testing.
• Technical skills in AI and data science.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, or similar tools.
• Professional ability to evaluate business processes, identify inherent risk, and test internal controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, computer science, or related fields.
