Overview

Corporate Audit Integrated Data Analyst, Officer role supporting internal audit engagements with data analytics within the Corporate Audit Team.

What you'll do

• Support audit execution under the direction of the audit project lead using data analytics.
• Design data-driven test approaches for audit projects in partnership with Data Analytics and business audit teams.
• Analyze results of data analytics control tests to identify potential control weaknesses.
• Perform audit work using risk-based methodology and internal auditing standards to identify risks and evaluate control adequacy.
• Obtain and analyze evidentiary data to draft informed opinions on controls’ adequacy and effectiveness.
• Draft audit issues with root causes using data analysis and support conclusions on risk of findings.
• Assist in onboarding and coaching junior staff and business auditors in the use of data analytics.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in Public Accounting, Internal Auditing, or financial services.
• Technical ability in AI and data science.
• Technical ability in data analysis and control testing.
• Proficiency evaluating business processes, identifying inherent risk, and testing associated internal controls.
• Experience using SQL, Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, or related analytics/automation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance, accounting, computer science, or related fields.
• Professional experience and/or a degree related to data science and analytics.
