Data QA Specialist

Overview

Data QA Specialist (Data QA Associate) for rapidly growing e-commerce insights product, focused on data cleaning and quality assurance in India.

What you'll do

• Extract, label, and clean receipt data from email panels or AI-generated datasets to produce accurate business expense insights.
• Monitor and analyze data trends for merchants and vendors, including email categorization and trend identification.
• Maintain stability of merchant and vendor data by investigating anomalies like sudden drops or spikes in data volume.
• Collaborate with teams in China and the U.S. to ensure data consistency and quality.
• Respond to analysts and clients with timely answers to demands and inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company data security and confidentiality policies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 0–2 years of experience as a data or quality assurance analyst.
• Experience in data tagging and cleaning or Regex.
• Ability to manage multiple processes in parallel.
• Basic data analysis skills and familiarity with Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Details

• Fully remote role based in India.
• Working hours: 8 am–5 pm IST, with some overlap expected with Chinese or U.S. work hours.
• Start as soon as possible, no later than June 2025.
