Data QA Associate (Finance)

Overview

Data QA Associate (Finance) to manage data cleaning and quality assurance for an e-commerce insights product, turning receipt data into accurate business expense insights.

What you'll do

• Extract, label, and clean data from email panels or AI-generated datasets to ensure data quality.
• Monitor and analyze merchant and vendor data trends, including email categorization.
• Maintain stability of merchant and vendor data by investigating anomalies like sudden volume drops/spikes.
• Collaborate with data teams in China and the U.S. to ensure data consistency and quality.
• Respond timely to analysts' and clients' demands and inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company data security and confidentiality policies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 0–2 years of experience as a data or quality assurance analyst.
• Experience in data tagging, cleaning, or regex.
• Basic data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with a remote team.

Details

• Fully remote role based in India.
• Working hours: 8 am–5 pm IST, with some overlap expected with Chinese or U.S. work hours.
• Expected start: as soon as possible, no later than June 2025.
