Overview
Data QA Associate role focused on data cleaning and quality assurance for an e-commerce insights product. Convert receipt data into accurate business expense insights while working with distributed teams and proprietary tools.
What you'll do
- Extract, label, and clean data from an email panel or AI-generated datasets.
- Monitor and analyze merchant and vendor data trends, including email categorization.
- Maintain merchant and vendor data stability by investigating anomalies like drops or spikes in volume.
- Collaborate with China and U.S. teams to ensure data consistency and quality.
- Respond promptly to analysts' and clients' demands and inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company data security and confidentiality policies.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 0–2 years of experience as a data or quality assurance analyst.
- Experience in data tagging, cleaning, or Regex.
- Ability to manage multiple processes in parallel.
- Basic data analysis skills and familiarity with Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Nice to have
- Experience with mainstream ERP systems such as NetSuite, Ramp, or QBO.
- Accounting standards knowledge and ability to distinguish accounting categories and records.
Details
- Fully remote role based in India.
- Working hours: 8 am–5 pm IST, with expected overlap with Chinese or U.S. work hours.
- Start date expected as soon as possible, and no later than June 2025.
