Product Analyst

Overview

Support the analysis, validation, maintenance, and enhancement of healthcare data products using US healthcare claims data. The role combines product analysis, requirements documentation, dashboard development, testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll do

• Analyze US healthcare claims datasets for patterns, data-quality issues, coverage gaps, and product opportunities.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for extraction, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and impact analysis.
• Investigate data and product issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
• Validate product outputs, data transformations, analytical processes, and machine-learning results.
• Create product documentation, including data dictionaries, business rules, requirements, and test scenarios.
• Support functional, regression, defect, data-validation, and user-acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, machine learning, engagement, and account teams.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, product analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a related role.
• B.E. or B.Tech. degree in engineering or technology.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience analyzing US healthcare data, including medical, pharmacy claims, or patient-level data.
• Strong problem-solving, data investigation, root-cause analysis, and communication skills.
• Ability to support requirements analysis, validation, testing, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Python, APIs, JSON, machine-learning output validation, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Agile practices.
• Understanding of payer hierarchies, formulary data, market access, or patient-services analytics.
• Experience developing in a HIPAA-compliant ecosystem.

• Remote in India.
• May require domestic and international travel, including overnight stays, up to 5%.
