Overview

Data Specialist (Data Operations Analyst) role focused on building custom product attribution mappings for retail and brand customers using manual tagging and machine learning tools.

What you'll do

• Work with corporate retail and brand customers to understand category structures and attribution requirements.
• Execute product-to-category mapping using manual tagging and machine learning.
• Use interpretation and judgment to align data mapping with customer specifications and business goals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to plan and deliver projects on time with high accuracy.
• Continuously monitor and improve product attribution processes for efficiency and quality.
• Enhance existing data operations processes and tools using technical skills.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy across the data mapping process.

What you'll need

• 1–2 years of experience developing a technical background.
• Applied Python, PySpark, and/or SQL skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis, tagging systems, and machine learning tools.
• Knowledge of consumer product data and experience with retail or brand data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high-quality, accurate results.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Details

• Fully-remote opportunity based in India.
• During onboarding/training, several hours of overlap with US time zones are expected.
• After onboarding, availability for meetings/check-ins with US managers/colleagues is expected, with flexible work hours outside those times.
