Deals Advisory – Data Specialist (Associate) in PwC’s Acceleration Center India, supporting forensic services and deals practice work using forensic technology and data insights.

What you'll do

• Engage in forensic services focused on fraud, investigations, and regulatory enforcement.
• Support client deliverables in Deals using forensic technology to provide insights and solutions.
• Contribute to commercial diligence and value creation support within the Deals practice.
• Support analysis, preparation, management, and use of data in business/transformation programmes.
• Work with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Investigate data issues and support root-cause analysis activities.
• Document data findings and project updates and communicate them to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of experience delivering data-related activities in project, operational, or transformation environments.
• Experience working with structured data using SQL and reporting or visualization tools.
• Awareness of software engineering principles (SOLID, DRY), clean/reusable Python, basic unit testing (pytest), and Git branching & PR reviews.
• An introduction to CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms, data transformation, or reporting solutions.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and data management principles.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks while seeking guidance when required.
