Machine learning and GEN AI Data Scientist

Overview

Build and implement machine learning, statistical modeling, deep learning, and generative AI solutions for North America Consumer Bank business requirements.

What you'll do

• Build, validate, deploy, and govern models across multiple portfolios.
• Process large datasets and perform exploratory data analysis.
• Design and fine-tune LLM and generative AI applications using prompt engineering and RAG.
• Develop model-driven solutions with Python, PySpark, SQL, R, Hive, and related frameworks.
• Document data requirements, collection, processing, and cleaning activities.
• Collaborate with business partners, model governance, and fair lending teams.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to training and competency development.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of data analytics experience, or master’s degree with 2 years, or a PhD.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, or R and strong SQL experience.
• 2–4 years of experience with machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.
• Understanding of deep learning techniques and machine learning frameworks.
• Experience working with large datasets, data warehouses, and production models.
• Strong statistical analysis, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Quantitative field experience and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in credit cards and retail banking.
