Associate Specialist - Data Science

Overview

Associate Specialist supporting data science projects across therapeutic and business domains. The role covers analytics solutions ranging from visualization and reporting to statistical and machine learning models.

What you'll do

• Develop descriptive statistics, visualizations, and reports.
• Build advanced statistical and machine learning models.
• Parameterize and modularize code for scalable model development.
• Deploy models and analytics solutions in AWS cloud environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, engineers, subject matter experts, and business partners.
• Present and discuss work with executive and business stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree.
• 0–2 years of industry experience, which may be waived for exceptional candidates.
• Foundations in statistics and machine learning.
• Strong Python skills.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Knowledge of analytics areas including data engineering, visualization, and interpretation.
• Strong communication and independent problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a quantitative science or health field.
• Experience with AWS SageMaker or deploying models to production.
• Experience with PowerBI, Qlik Sense, R-Shiny, Bokeh, Django, or JavaScript.
• Experience with real-world healthcare data or therapeutic areas such as oncology.
