Overview

Data Scientist for People Analytics & Insights, using analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to extract insights from workforce data for talent and HR strategy.

What you'll do

• Analyze large HR datasets (engagement, attrition, performance, compensation, hiring) to find trends and opportunities.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models such as attrition risk, career pathing, and workforce segmentation.
• Translate business problems into analytical questions and communicate results to non-technical audiences.
• Create visualizations, dashboards, and storytelling tools using Tableau, Power BI, or Workday Discovery Boards.
• Define KPIs and success metrics with HR stakeholders to improve people-related decision-making.
• Design surveys, experiments (A/B testing), and causal inference models to evaluate HR programs.
• Ensure ethical data use and compliance with privacy and governance standards.

What you'll need

• 3–5+ years of relevant data science/analytics experience, ideally in HR or workforce analytics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Advanced data manipulation and statistical modeling skills (Python, R, PySpark, SQL).
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Workday Discovery Boards.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services (Databricks; AWS/Azure/GCP including Sagemaker/Glue).
