Senior Data Scientist

Overview

Senior Data Scientist role on Finicity’s Data Science and Analytics team within Mastercard, working on intelligent decisioning and multiple data science domains for financial applications.

What you'll do

• Plan and direct data science and machine learning projects.
• Design and implement machine learning models for transaction classification, temporal analysis, and risk modeling.
• Measure, validate, implement, monitor, and improve internal and external ML model performance.
• Propose new, creative solutions to existing and novel challenges.
• Present technical findings and problems to business leaders and clients.
• Develop scalable solutions using machine learning and data engineering best practices.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of data science/ML model development and deployments.
• Exposure to financial transactional structured and unstructured data, including transaction classification and risk evaluation.
• Strong understanding of NLP, statistical modeling, and visualization.
• Experience with SQL and databases (preferred).
• Familiarity with relevant technologies such as TensorFlow, Python, Sklearn, and Pandas.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
