Data Scientist | Data Engineer (AI & GTM Analytics)

Overview

Hybrid Data Scientist / Data Engineer role focused on building AI/ML solutions and the data infrastructure behind GTM strategy and planning across Cisco and Splunk.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and deploy predictive models and AI/ML solutions for GTM growth.
• Develop propensity models and advanced analytics for targeted account selling.
• Architect, build, and optimize scalable backend data pipelines and integration workflows.
• Implement data modeling strategies for large-scale, high-velocity enterprise data.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Operations to deliver actionable insights.
• Lead innovation using modern AI techniques and data engineering best practices.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
• Strong Python or R expertise plus machine learning and predictive modeling.
• Advanced data engineering skills, including robust ETL/ELT and data workflows.
• Advanced SQL experience plus hands-on work with Snowflake, Hadoop, Apache Spark, or similar platforms.
• Experience building and managing scalable ETL/data pipelines using tools such as Alteryx or equivalent.
• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science or Computer Science.
