Senior Data Engineer-1

Overview

Senior Data Engineer to build and run end-to-end data pipelines that turn raw data into trusted data and AI products for Electrolux’s Lakehouse stack.

What you'll do

• Design and build pipelines to move data from multiple source systems into the Lakehouse and merge disparate sources.
• Create and maintain ELT pipelines with dbt to transform raw data into clean, well-modeled assets.
• Operate and extend the Azure Databricks Lakehouse, including schema design, query optimization, and scalable processing.
• Own Airflow orchestration for end-to-end workflows with correct ordering, recovery, monitoring, and audit trails.
• Implement automated data quality checks to continuously verify accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Apply data mesh principles to design data products with ownership, discoverability, and contracts.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer building and operating production data pipelines at scale.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills for query optimization and schema design.
• Strong hands-on Python skills for pipeline development and automation.
• Practical cloud data platform experience, with Azure strongly preferred.
• Experience building ELT/ETL pipelines with dbt and orchestrating with Airflow.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot for daily development and building CI/CD with GitHub Actions.

• Full-time position based in Bangalore, India.
• Works with Azure Databricks Lakehouse, dbt, Apache Airflow, and Azure Data Factory.
