Senior Data Platform Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Platform Engineer responsible for scaling data infrastructure and building an enterprise-grade data platform with automation and data engineering responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Scale data infrastructure and streamline data delivery.
• Design and implement AI automation to replace manual operations.
• Build self-serve solutions for data infrastructure challenges.
• Develop AI-based analytical tools integrated with the data pipeline.
• Architect and manage extensive data sets for business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor senior engineers.
• Define technical direction, plan the roadmap, and manage timelines and risks.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of Kafka.
• Programming proficiency in Python and Scala.
• Working knowledge of distributed data frameworks such as Apache Spark.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Databricks experience is mentioned as nice to have.
• Strong knowledge of database design, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• Working experience with Databricks.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT).
