Data Engineer – Experienced Associate

Overview

Data Engineer – Experienced Associate role in PwC’s Acceleration Center India, focused on developing data engineering solutions for client engagements.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data products, and analytics solutions.
• Design, code, and test applications as part of Advisory client work.
• Support initiatives on cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
• Build cloud-based data solutions using Azure services and related technologies.
• Apply data modeling and data lake/lakehouse/warehouse principles to support analytics requirements.
• Test, debug, tune performance, and troubleshoot to improve reliability.
• Support CI/CD and version control development best practices.
• Contribute to AI-enabled initiatives including Generative AI and RAG.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Python, SQL, and Spark for building pipelines and solutions.

• Travel requirement: up to 20%.
