FS - Data Engineer - Associate

Overview

As a Data Engineer Associate, you will develop data pipelines, data products, analytics solutions, and cloud-based data solutions to support client projects and digital transformation.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data products, and analytics solutions.
• Build and enhance cloud-based data solutions using Azure services.
• Apply data modeling, Delta Lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse concepts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Test, debug, troubleshoot, monitor, and tune solution performance.
• Use version control, CI/CD, and development best practices.
• Contribute to GenAI and retrieval-augmented generation initiatives.

What you'll need

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering, software development, analytics engineering, or a related technology role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark, and data pipeline development.
• Exposure to Databricks or a comparable cloud data platform.
• Familiarity with Azure services, data lakes, lakehouse architecture, and data warehousing.
• Understanding of Git, testing, debugging, and CI/CD fundamentals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Databricks workflows, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, or Asset Bundles.
• Awareness of Generative AI, RAG, large language models, or semantic search.
• Exposure to automated testing, data quality checks, monitoring, or performance optimization.
