Senior Associate Data Engineer for PwC’s Tax Innovation team at the Acceleration Center India, developing software and data-driven solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and improve business performance.
- Design, code, and test applications to deliver user experiences.
- Use Python to create efficient and scalable software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology-driven solutions in tax service delivery.
- Interpret data to inform insights and recommendations for software development projects.
- Mentor junior team members to support skill development and knowledge sharing.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce, MBA (finance related), or M.Com.
- At least 3+ years of experience.
- Oral and written proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Strong technical background and experience on the Databricks platform, including workflows, DLT, asset bundles, Unity catalog, and Genie.
- Experience with PySpark, Python, SQL, and Databricks for scalable enterprise-grade data pipelines.
- Experience with Azure (including Azure cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, and Data Services).
- Experience with data modeling techniques and architectures such as Delta Lake, DWH, and lakehouse architecture.
- Experience setting up CI/CD, automated testing, and version control.
- Experience with Apache Spark framework and distributed systems.
- Experience with Genie and other AI capabilities on Databricks (highly desirable).
