Overview

Senior Associate Data Engineer for PwC’s Tax Innovation team at the Acceleration Center India, developing software and data-driven solutions.

What you'll do

• Develop innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and improve business performance.
• Design, code, and test applications to deliver user experiences.
• Use Python to create efficient and scalable software products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology-driven solutions in tax service delivery.
• Interpret data to inform insights and recommendations for software development projects.
• Mentor junior team members to support skill development and knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce, MBA (finance related), or M.Com.
• At least 3+ years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Strong technical background and experience on the Databricks platform, including workflows, DLT, asset bundles, Unity catalog, and Genie.
• Experience with PySpark, Python, SQL, and Databricks for scalable enterprise-grade data pipelines.
• Experience with Azure (including Azure cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, and Data Services).
• Experience with data modeling techniques and architectures such as Delta Lake, DWH, and lakehouse architecture.
• Experience setting up CI/CD, automated testing, and version control.
• Experience with Apache Spark framework and distributed systems.
• Experience with Genie and other AI capabilities on Databricks (highly desirable).
