Data Engineer

Overview

Entry-level Data Engineer role supporting the development and operation of reliable, scalable data pipelines. The role offers guided experience with Databricks, CI/CD, and data engineering practices.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain Databricks data pipelines under guidance.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes focused on data quality and scalability.
• Contribute to ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation frameworks.
• Deploy changes through CI/CD and the Change Request lifecycle.
• Monitor data workloads and support incident response.
• Deliver curated datasets with Reporting, Platform, and Business teams.
• Document workflows and runbooks.

What you'll need

• At least 1 year of data engineering or related experience, including internships.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on knowledge of Databricks.
• Hands-on knowledge of Python with PySpark.
• Knowledge of SQL and ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD and Git-based version control.
• Awareness of monitoring and observability concepts.

Nice to have

• Exposure to orchestration frameworks or streaming technologies.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code and deployment tooling.
• Databricks or cloud certification.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
