Data Engineer 2

Overview

Data Engineer 2 (Full Stack Data Engineer P2) to design and develop end-to-end data solutions in JLL’s Enterprise Data team.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data infrastructure using SQL and PySpark.
• Implement data pipeline frameworks to move data from sources into data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Build and operate secure REST APIs and microservices exposing curated data products.
• Develop web interfaces like dashboards and data exploration tools for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate to understand data requirements and define data ingestion architecture.
• Troubleshoot data processing, data quality, pipeline performance, and application behavior issues.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data engineering and full-stack development in cloud-based environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience shipping at least one production application end to end from ingestion through API to user interface.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Spark for large-scale data projects.
• Strong REST API and microservices development experience.
• Working proficiency with React (preferred) front-end framework, plus HTML/CSS and accessibility awareness.
