Overview
Support North America sales, dealer, and design teams by developing accurate workplace design solutions, product applications, and pre-sales materials from India.
What you'll do
- Develop workplace design solutions for commercial and government projects.
- Translate customer goals into functional workplace solutions.
- Create CET drawings, renderings, specifications, floor plans, product lists, and presentations.
- Prepare bills of materials, take-offs, pricing, and proposal documentation.
- Ensure drawings and applications comply with codes, ADA requirements, and standards.
- Manage concurrent projects, documentation, priorities, and delivery timelines.
- Provide design support during presentations, reviews, mockups, and closeout.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architectural Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of design, application, and typical development experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency with CET/Configura, specification tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of workplace planning, furniture systems, specifications, BOMs, and pricing documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in contract furniture, commercial interiors, workplace design, architecture, or a related industry.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or related design platforms.
- Familiarity with MillerKnoll products and application standards.
- Knowledge of North America accessibility, code, sustainability, ergonomics, or workplace strategy.
- Experience with international or distributed project teams.
