Developer MDM (Master Data Management)

Overview

Design, implement and manage Master Data Management (MDM) solutions that keep data accurate, consistent and available across the organization, working with business stakeholders, data stewards and IT teams.

What you'll do

• Design and develop MDM solutions to support business processes and data governance, including Data Quality rules development, maintenance and support
• Implement data integration processes to ensure accurate and consistent master data across systems
• Monitor and maintain the MDM environment, ensuring data quality and integrity
• Troubleshoot and resolve master and data quality related issues and discrepancies
• Use Collibra to manage data governance, data cataloging and data stewardship activities
• Own the platform, including upgrades, configuration fixes and platform health monitoring
• Carry out data migration and integration, and work with Data Quality products such as Syniti's ADMM and ADM Data Catalog apps, Collibra, and data engineering and integration to GCP
• Design, code, debug and document applications in various software languages or tools
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage and work processes
• Perform unit testing and integration testing, maintain and improve existing codebases, and peer review code changes
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers and other engineers, to define, design and ship new features
• Write and maintain technical documentation covering program development, logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections
• Participate in project planning, including estimating timeframes and resource requirements, and manage tasks and deadlines
• Ensure software security and compliance with industry standards and regulations, and implement data protection and security measures
• Interact with customers or end-users to gather requirements and provide support, translating them into technical specifications
• Keep up to date with industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve development processes and methodologies

What you'll need

• 2+ years of proven experience in development, enhancements and management of MDM solutions
• Hands-on experience in Data Integration, Data Migration, ETL and Data Quality products such as Syniti's ADMM and ADM
• Proficiency in SQL scripting of Stored Procedures, Triggers, etc., and database management activities including DB Refreshes, DB Copy and table refreshes
• Experience with Data quality management: Data Quality Rules and Master Data Management processes and practices
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Quantitative or Engineering Field, or relevant experience
• 2+ years relevant or practical experience
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Nice to have

• Experience in MDM implementation projects or background
• Experience with MDM tools or platforms such as SimpleMDG or similar industry-standard platforms like Informatica MDM, SAP MDG or Reltio
