DevOps Engineer

Overview

DevOps Engineer working on cloud-based services, including building, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using a DevOps model with continuous deployments.

What you'll do

• Develop automated deployment solutions for software and services on AWS production infrastructure.
• Implement optimized CI/CD pipelines for developing and deploying mission-critical enterprise software.
• Design, build, and support cloud infrastructure and security technologies for resiliency, observability, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production.
• Build management solutions for services across multiple cloud platforms and data centers.
• Collaborate with peers and architecture to migrate applications to AWS.

What you'll need

• 4–5+ years total experience in scalable, distributed systems architecture.
• 2+ years experience with cloud platforms including AWS.
• 2+ years experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• 2+ years scripting experience using Python, Shell, or similar.
• 2+ years containerization experience including Docker.
• 1+ years orchestration experience including Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• In-depth understanding of networking and HTTP protocol.
• Experience with instrumentation and management of automated deployments.
• Experience resolving customer deployment issues.
• Experience with distributed teams and CI/CD processes.
