Diamond Services Engineer (TAC)

Overview

Diamond Services Engineer (TAC) provides technical support to customers, including installations, implementations, maintenance, education, and customer-environment documentation, while helping resolve network issues.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support using analytical skills to support customers’ environments.
• Facilitate new installations, implementations, maintenance, and education.
• Take ownership of customer-reported network issues to restore service quickly.
• Reproduce reported issues and coordinate with internal teams to resolve them.
• Manage customer expectations and handle technical issues in a timely manner.
• Support Service Managers for high-profile technical escalations.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites in India and abroad.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in a TAC environment.
• Must have past experience as a Technical Account Manager (TAM)/Hi-Touch Support/CFTS Engineer or similar account-based technical support role.
• Experience working on enterprise-grade firewalls.
• Solid exposure to TCP/IP, switching, and routing protocols.
• Working knowledge of TCP DUMP and Wireshark.
• Working knowledge of Linux commands/shell scripts.
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPSEC.
• Good understanding of AAA, Digital Certificates, and Active Directory.
• Experience with core dump/kernel panic analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience working in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
