Director, Analytics

Overview

Director, Analytics responsible for leading and executing the analytics vision, strategy, and governance across regions for a global data and analytics platform.

What you'll do

• Define and execute a unified analytics strategy with a published roadmap reviewed quarterly.
• Lead BI and the analytics platform strategy, including persona-driven architecture and enablement for different user groups.
• Drive global expansion of the analytics platform by hardening regional implementations and validating repeatable architectures for new regions.
• Operationalise the data estate by establishing observability, SLOs, and handoff standards for production feeds.
• Own and drive data governance outcomes for Analytics, including defining Critical Data Elements and automating publisher responsibilities.
• Serve as a visible leader for the APAC region and bridge local teams with global priorities.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of overall relevant working experience.
• 10+ years in Data Analytics, including significant experience leading teams and functions.
• Experience leading Analytics functions in a global SaaS context.
• Deep data platform experience, with Databricks strongly preferred.
• Data governance leadership experience, including driving governance outcomes ahead of the organisation.
• AI fluency, including understanding what makes data AI-consumable (lineage, schema, quality, ontology).

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar numerate field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Location: Pune, India.
• Hybrid work model requiring working from the Pune office 3 days a week.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; legal authorization to work in the base country is required from the first day.
